Grimross Farm

Cashmere only comes from goats

Welcome to the Farm!

We are a small scale farm in the beautiful Village of Gagetown, NB. Raising cashmere goats for fibre, meat and pets. Passionate about living and farming responsibly, our goats are kept as naturally as possible, pasture raised and loved fiercely by our family. We also raise English Angora rabbits for their fibre and occasionally sell them as pets.

A limited amount of goat meat is available in the spring while it lasts. Low in saturated fat, cholesterol, and high in protein and flavour, it’s one of the healthiest meats on the market.

In addition to cashmere, Grimross Farm produces a number of other products, including a line of artisanal “Wild Harvest Jellies”, which are made using the flowers and berries that grow naturally on our property. These are often collected in the company of our small herd of goats, who taste test everything in their efforts to “help”. We collect wild rose petals, purple clover, dandelion, black locust blossoms and high bush cranberries, just to name a few of the many, many wild ingredients we use to make jellies. These are available nearly exclusively at the Gagetown Farmers’ Market, where you will also find needle felted sculptures, hand spun yarns, seasonal produce and more!
